Modified Silk Bell Lampshades – Pink Heavy Pongee Silk

The Modified Silk Bell lampshade is a “transitional” version of the standard Silk Bell lampshade. Wider at the top and shorter, the Modified Silk Bell lampshade – much like the British Silk Bell lampshade – does not have the dramatic flare or “bell” of the standard, traditional Silk Bell lampshade. The design of the Modified Silk Bell lampshade is slightly taller than the British Silk Bell, and the flare, or bell, is slightly greater than the flare of the British Silk Bell. The Modified Silk Bell lampshades are used today on a wide variety of portable lamps table, accent, and floor lamps, most typically in transitionally styled room settings.
