Gothic Rectangle Silk Bell Lampshades – Plum Ikat Linen

The Gothic Rectangle Silk Bell lampshade is a variation of the Inverted Corner Rectangle Bell lampshade. The width and depth of the top of the Gothic Rectangle Silk Bell lampshade are about 1/2 of the width and depth of the bottom, and the corners are designed with an inverted flare or scallop from the top of the lampshade to the bottom of the shade. Different from the Inverted Corner Rectangle, however, the opening at the top of the Gothic Rectangle Silk Bell lampshade is designed with a shallow arc, from corner to corner on the two longer sides of the lampshade. Further, the lampshade frame is designed with a gentle flare or bell, from the top to the bottom of the lampshade. The Gothic Rectangle Silk Bell lampshade is only available in medium to large sizes, and, given it’s unique design, can be considered a “statement” lampshade. We use the Gothic Rectangle Silk Bell in traditional settings and on lamp bases that are rectangular in nature.
