Cut Corner Rectangle Bell

The Cut Corner Rectangle Bell Silk lampshade is a variation on the classic Silk Rectangle lampshade. The width of the rectangular top of the lampshade is about 2/3 of the width of the bottom rectangle, and the corners, from the top of the lampshade to the bottom of the shade, are cut at a 45 degree angle – hence the description “Cut Corner”. And, as it’s name suggests, the Cut Corner Rectangle Bell Silk lampshade flares gently from the top of the shade to the bottom of the lampshade. While some manufactuers do produce a hardback version of the Cut Corner Rectangle Silk Bell lampshade, the most prevalent type of Cut Corner Rectangle Bell lampshade is a Silk lampshade. The Cut Corner Rectangle Bell Silk lampshade is most often used on rectangular bases with a bit of a curved shape. Depending upon the fabric selected – from an open weave linen or cotton to a fine pongee silk, the Cut Corner Rectangle Bell Silk lampshade can complement a “rectangular” lamp base in a number of interior decors.
