The retro square lampshade resembles a cube, though it’s height is a little shorter than the width. The square opening at the top is nearly the same as the square opening at the bottom. The retro square is a fairly “new” style of lampshade – a modern variation on the classic square lampshade and is used on all types of square lamp bases – table and floor – for a clean, crisp interesting look and design.
