The Cut Corner Square Bell Silk lampshade is a variation on the classic Silk Square lampshade. The width of the square top of the lampshade is about 2/3 of the width of the bottom square, and the corners, from the top of the lampshade to the bottom of the shade, are cut at a 45 degree angle – hence the description “Cut Corner”. And, as it’s name suggests, the Cut Corner Square Bell Silk lampshade flares gently from the top of the shade to the bottom of the lampshade. While some manufactuers do produce a hardback version of the Cut Corner Square Silk Bell lampshade, the most prevalent type of Cut Corner Square Bell lampshade is a Silk lampshade. The Cut Corner Square Bell Silk lampshade is most often used on square bases with a bit of a curved shape. Depending upon the fabric selected – from an open weave linen or cotton to a fine pongee silk, the Cut Corner Square Bell Silk lampshade can complement a “squared” lamp base in a number of interior decors.
