The Royal Square Silk Bell Lampshade with a Gallery is a variation of the Royal Square Silk Bell lampshade – but with the addition of a gallery. The Royal Square Silk Bell lampshade has a square top – the size a little smaller than one half of the bottom, and the bottom of the lampshade is designed with sharp corners. Along the bottom of the lampshade there is a gallery. A gallery is a vertical design element added to the bottom of the lampshade which conforms to the shape of the bottom of the lampshade. The Gallery on the Royal Square Silk Bell lampshade includes both the sharp corners of the Royal Silk Bell lampshade as well as the outscallops, or gentle curves on each of the four side panels of the square. The gallery is 2″ in height and can be made with either the same fabric as the body of the lampshade, or the gallery can be treated to a different fabric, a different treatment (eg., a pleat) or a decorative trim. And, as it’s name suggests, the Royal Square Silk Bell Lampshade with a Gallery flares gently from the top of the shade to the bottom of the lampshade. The Royal Square Bell Silk Lampshade with a Gallery is a fabulous design to use on antique or vintage lamps with both square and round elements.
