V-Notch Silk Bell Lampshades – Toffee Heavy Pongee Silk

The V-Notch, gimp trimmed, Silk Bell lampshade is a variation of the traditional Silk Bell lampshade. The design of the V-Notch Silk Bell lampshade is made by creating small “notches” along both the top and the bottom of the classic Silk Bell lampshade and then applying a gimp trim as the finishing touch. The height of the V-Notch Silk Bell lampshade is longer than the traditional Silk Bell lampshade, and the top diameter of the V-Notch Silk Bell lampshade is about 2/3 of the diameter of the bottom of the lampshade. The longer length and the wider opening at the top of the lampshade means that the flare is more moderate on the V-Notch Silk Bell than the traditional Silk Bell lampshade. The V-Notch Silk Bell lampshade is used most frequently on relatively large table lamps in traditional settings.
