Shallow Drum Silk Lampshades – Pink Heavy Pongee Silk

The Shallow Drum Silk lampshade is, very simply, a “short drum”. The name “drum” is an appropriate description for the shape of the lampshade, which appears to have the same sized openings at both the top and the bottom of the lampshade. In fact, most often, the diameter at the top of a drum lampshade is 1-2″ smaller than the opening at the bottom of the lampshade. The Shallow Silk Drum lampshade is an excellent choice for many floor lamps – both traditional and contemporary. We have also used the Shallow Silk Drum lampshade, in a variety of fabrics, as a complement to round based lamps in contemporary settings.
