Cut Corner Square Silk Lampshades – Toffee Imported Linen

The Cut Corner Square Silk lampshade is a variation on the classic Square Silk lampshade. The Cut Corner Square Silk Lampshade is shaped as a square, but the corners of the square are cut at a 45 degree angle, running from the top to the bottom of the lampshade – hence the description “Cut Corner”. The Cut Corner Square Silk lampshade has a square, cut corner top – the size a little larger than one half of the bottom width of the lampshade. The lines of the Cut Corner Square Silk lampshade are straight from top to bottom, much the same as the straight lines of the classic Silk Empire style lampshade. The design elements of the Cut Corner Square Silk Lampshade make it an interesting complement to lamp bases with square elements, and may be a style chosen over the Cut Corner Square Bell lampshade when a more “tailored” style shade is preferred.
