One of my greatest passions (aside from lighting, of course, J), is the ocean.  Many of my vacation hours are spent on a sailboat cruising the New England coast.  The rolling waves, fresh air and warm sun clear my mind, relax my body and energize my spirit.  I call it nautical therapy!

When I am away from the ocean for too long, I find myself planning the next voyage.  But, in between trips we are able to bring the ocean to our homes with our lovely Nautical Shade collection.  Like me, many water and sea lovers are looking for an opportunity to bring their passion for the water to their home; now they can by working with us to create a custom lampshade made from the nautical chart of their choice.

We use NOAA charts to create our nautical lampshades.  You can choose one of our designs, or can select your shade style (squares, hexes, pyramids, drums and empires), and show us the specific area of the chart to include on your shade.   Some customers are pairing their Nautical Shade with a collectible lamp filled with sand from their favorite beach or shells from a recent trip – making the lamp even more special.
